Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Republic of Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Lee Jong-kook, addressing the expert forum “Strategic dialogue between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea: Prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation”, in Tashkent, noted the importance of developing interaction through think tanks between Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea.

“Such a format will help strengthen political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties and identify new growth points and development drivers in priority areas of multilateral cooperation”, the Korean expert stated.

“The intensification of expert dialogue becomes especially timely in the current conditions, when our countries are witnessing a turbulent geopolitical situation in the world, which has a direct impact on the stability and sustainable development of various regions of the planet, including Central and East Asia”, the expert said.
